The mission of GRC Dogsports is to provide PEOPLE with the motivation to give their dogs the training they need to thrive in this world, and a healthy place to put all of their natural drives. We want to re-purpose the old APBT games to show not just the amazing gameness and relationship, but also the control and teamwork you can achieve through training.

The sport is a mixture of 'Social Responsibility' obedience, and drive sports.

Social Responsibility helps to create just that - dogs who can thrive in society, whilst still being able to express their natural drives and enjoy what makes them happy. Drive Sports consist of 4 different sports - your dog can participate in one or all of them. These are: Mill Race, Weight Pull, Spring Pole and Wall Climb. These sports are making a massive comeback in the US and we are one of only a handful of GRC clubs in the UK. We see the need for dogs to be able to have a great time, but whilst being taught how to act in a socially responsible way.

We are absolutely all fun and games, but when you become a member of the club you can also opt to complete your SR Test (Social Responsibility - levels 1-3) in order to compete in the drive sports. There are other clubs in the UK that we aim to be able to compete against and build this sport into something huge in the UK!
